Dean Warner pushes for investigation of Lakeside City Administrator
The saying, “elections have consequences” certainly holds true for Lakeside and is especially true for Lakeside City Administrator Charlie Hill.
Mayor Ed Gowan, who was seated January 2011, was known to want Charlie Hill fired as Lakeside city administrator, it had even been a campaign promise, one that he apparently intends to keep.

The alleged smear campaign against Hill has been helped along with a willing accomplice Jessica Lauren Lloyd Rogers, editor of Coast Lake News.
On June 2, 2011 Lakesideinfo.com’s documented evidential proof of no wrong doing by Charlie Hill regarding wages in 2008, as alleged by Jessica Lauren Lloyd-Rogers.
On July 21, 2011 Jessica Lauren Lloyd-Rogers again alleges in CLN Charlie Hill gave herself an unlawfull raise, when evidence shows that she did not.

Dean Warner, spokesperson for the “concerned citizen” group
On August 11, 2011 Dean Warner, speaking to the Lakeside City Council on behalf of “The Concerned Citizens” a group he described as being an unstructured group with no list of members; demanded that the city council conduct a public investigation of the unauthorized raise of Charlie Hill.
If the city council fails to publicly investigate, he would take their (“concerned citizens”) complaint to the District Attorney.
District Attorney and law enforcement declines complaint
On September 8, 2011 Dean Warner again speaking for the unidentified group, “the concerned citizens of Lakeside” stated, he took their “concerned citizens” complaint that Charlie Hill unlawfully gave herself a raise to the Coos County District Attorney.
The DA’s office declined to investigate the allegation, referring him to law enforcement.
Dean Warner stated, he then contacted the Coos County Sheriff, who also declined to investigate their allegation, referring him to Lakeside City Council. Warner stated, “the ball is in your court” referring to the city council.
There does not appear to be any basis (given the totality of documented evidence) for an investigation of the City Administrator Charlie Hill, regarding the City Council authorized wage increase of 2008.
Anatomy of a coordinated smear. Ed Gowan, Dean Warner, Jessica L. Lloyd-Rogers and their accomplices in the alleged “concerned Citizens ” mob have been knowingly promoting a false charge against city administrator Charlie Hill, for ten months now. For people to knowingly publicly slander and defame someone with a lie is disgusting.
I suspect that it is their belief that when you have a tabloid eager to print a lie, then have someone like Warner and Gowan promote the lie monthly on televised meetings, people will believe the lie.
I hope that the truth will always prevail, and that the liar will be punished in good time. Unfortunately there will be many who will believe this fairy tale, refusing to believe the facts. Charlie Hills standing and reputation in the community unfortunately may suffer unjustly as a result.
I can only sympathize for her, her family and friends, for what these awful people are putting them through.

Gowan was recalled for the very things he is now doing. Guess we shouldn’t be surprised.
