I would like to thank the citizens of Lakeside for the opportunity to serve them this last two years. It has been filled with many pleasurable moments. Meeting so many good people, and the ability to be in the position for a firsthand look at the many improvements in our fair city, has been priceless.
I have hope and look forward to continuing improvements from the new Mayor and council and will continue to do my part as opportunity presents itself.
You were a positive influence in this town- despite what some irrational people say.
Thank you for all the time you gave VOLUNTEERING FOR NO PAY for our community.
The hours of unpaid labor that Rod Schilling has provided in support of Lakeside cannot be counted. Remember that Mayor Schilling was an elected Council member prior to becoming Mayor Pro Tem.
He is also an active member of Lakeside Rural Fire District, serving as Chief of Operations. Mayor Schilling provides hands-on support to Lakeside Harmony Garden, Lakeside Library’s Summer reading Program, Christmas Tree’s in front of City Hall and major laborer during the Crawdad Festival. The list is much longer but I think you have the idea.
Rod Schilling is a man with commitment to this community. And I believe he is a man true to his word, so will fulfill his word to continue his support “as opportunity presents itself”.
Let’s not forget, Mary Schilling, Rod’s wife who is providing the same commitment and labor on behalf of Lakeside.
Lakeside owes a huge “Thank you!” to both of the Schilling’s.
