Reese Electric awarded contract

At the regular July Lakeside city council meeting it was decided to advantage of an opportunity to install energy saving lighting at the Lakeside Senior Center. The estimated energy saving is 6.134 KWh’s per year.

Central Lincoln PUD’s commercial lighting program as described in the Bonneville Power Administration report:

“Through this program, commercial customers in the service territories of participating utilities receive rebates for installing energy efficient lighting equipment.”

The rebate amount from Central Lincoln PUD for the project is $2,699.

The project went out to bid, resulting in four bid submissions. The bids were excepted by the council and the contract given to Reese Electric. They were significantly the lowest bid at $$3,196.
