Special water board meeting scheduled to interview for Superintendent’s job

Linda Sherych, Chairperson of the Lakeside Water District, reported at the regular monthly meeting that two applicants for the Superintendent’s job will be asked to interview with the Board on July 6.

A special meeting was scheduled for that day at 1 p.m.  The Board will go into Executive Session to interview the potential applicants.

Sherych also scheduled a special meeting on June 7 at 9 a.m. to compare the district’s health insurance plan to other group health plans available.

She stated the district is currently spending over $2000 per employee per month for health insurance.
