Lakeside Attorney Carlton,to recommend a solution to property abatement

At the regular June city council meeting Lakeside Attorney Fred Carlton, in reference to ordinance o9-267, stated, an omnibus ordinance will take care of the multiple problems in the enforcement of Lakeside’s  ordinances.

Carlton will be recommending at the next regular city council meeting that Lakeside just go with a basic $750 violation fine for a nuisance along with requiring the abatement.

Attorney Carlton, further stated, “we are not after the money, we are after curing the problem.”
