The Lakeside Women’s Club is sponsoring their Annual Lakeside Victorian Tea
on Saturday, June 12, 2010 at the Lakeside Lion’s Club on Bowron Road at 12:00 noon.

Dress up with your best hat and bring friends, and family.

The Lion’s Hall is transformed with murals painted by local Oregon artist Janne LaValle, along with other period
decorations.

Table settings include cloth and lace tablecloths, hand-made centerpieces, Victorian tea cups and teapots, so you experience a real tea room ambiance.

The menu includes fruit salad, scones served with lemon curd and Devonshire cream, tea sandwiches, various desserts, and of course, tea.  There will be door prizes, raffles, and silent auction items.

Proceeds from the tea are used for college scholarships for Lakeside, Hauser and North Bend students and other local community organizations including the Lakeside Library, Senior Center and Lakeside Fire Department.

Seating is limited, so reserve your spot ASAP by calling Women’s Club President Darline Atkin at 541-759-2356. Cost is $18 per person.
