More good news for Lakeside’s downtown

There will be a ground breaking ceremony Tuesday, April 27, at 1 pm at the corner of Eighth and North Lake.

The three Coos County Commissioners made an announcement at a special meeting held February in Lakeside that new sidewalks would be coming to downtown. They would reach from the tracks to the bridge, on the west side of the street, it came as welcome news.

Now, due to bids coming in lower than expected Lakeside will be getting both sides of the street done.
