After Robert O’Bryan’s bequest the guys met at Rod Schilling’s shop for a Park Advisory/Community Garden work day.
With Rudy Sherych and Joe Orman measuring and cutting, and Robert and Rod welding and grinding, three chain link gates were soon ready for transport.
After a stop at Joes 8th street grill for lunch Aaron Richards joined the crew for a short trip to the “Funscape” behind city hall.
The “Funscape” is an ongoing project spearheaded by the Parks Advisory/Community Garden Committee. It is all being accomplished with volunteers, grants and donations.
