Lakeshore Lodge

On a rainy April 28th morning the Parks Advisory/ Community Garden (PACG) members Robert O’Bryan, Diane O’Bryan, Michael Armstrong, and Mayor Rod Schilling,  loaded twelve completed flower box’s from Don Linwoods cabinet shop to various Lakeside business who requested them.

This is part of the city beautification project of the Parks Advisory/Community Garden Committee.

Two planters were placed at Ringo’s Lakeside Marina, Two at Lakeshore Lodge, One at Mc Kays Market, One at Up the Creek Tavern, One at The 8th Street Grill, One at Mary’s Beauty and Barber Shop, One at the Post Office, Two at The Olde Stables Restaurant and one at Lakeside Towing and Service.

It is hoped that the box’s will be planted in time for the Crawdad Festival Mother’s day weekend.

Large wooden fish will decorate the front of the boxes, each will be painted by a local artist.
