Diane O’Bryan’s ‘wood elves’ as she called the volunteer builders, spent three and a half hours building flower box’s for city beautification.

All the planters will find homes in various business locations along the main street (North Eighth) of Lakeside.

Each planter will have an artist rendering of a fish on the front, to go with the theme, “Get Hooked On Lakeside.”

Don Linwood, local contractor, lent his expertise and his cabinet shop for the construction, making it possible to build all 12 planters in record time.
