Forty-eight signed up for Tenmile Creek Steelhead

Fishing under the railroad trestle
The fourth annual Tenmile Creek steelhead derby was “the best yet,” stated past President, Jim Farmer.
The area was readied for the derby the night before, but a big storm blew in bringing out some ingenuity from the organizers. The registration tent sustained some rain damage, but with boards, zip ties, and broom handles, they made do. “Anything to keep the tent up.”
The winners
Of the people signed up for the derby Jaimie K. Fitting weighed in three legal fish to win the most steelhead caught.
Doug Jones caught the largest single fish, weighing in at 8.84 pounds.
Each of the winners received a spinning rod.
