Smoky sausage-corn chowder
♥ 1/2 cup chopped onion
♥ 4 Tbsp. margarine
♥ 1/4 cup flour
♥ 1 tsp. salt
♥ 1/4 tsp. pepper
♥ 4 cups milk
♥ 1 12 oz. pkg. smoked sausage links, sliced
♥ 1 16 oz. can whole kernel corn, drained
♥ 1 8 oz. can lima beans, drained
♥ 5 or 6 potatoes, peeled and diced
♥ 1 beef boullion cube
Saute onion in butter in skillet, blend in flour gradually, add salt and pepper
Stir in milk gradually, cook ’til thick
Pour into crockpot, add rest of ingredients, simmer ’til potatoes are done.
Faster alternate—- cook potatoes,drain, add rest of ingredients and cook 20 min.
Serves about 6— great with cornbread
