Obituary for Jean Marie Krausfeldt Cloe
Jean Marie Krausfeldt Cloe of Reedsport died June 16th of age-related causes. She was 83, born October 20, 1926 in Chicago, Illinois. Jean graduated from Austin High School and then completed prestigious business school training on “The Loop”.
Survivors include husband, Mervyn Cloe of Reedsport; brother, Marvin Smith of Florence, OR; two sons, Kenneth Krausfeldt, of Lone Tree, CO and Scott Krausfeldt, of Palmdale, CA; two daughters, Donna Krausfeldt Moyer of Long Beach, CA and Jill Krausfeldt Carre’ of Carpentaria, CA; four stepchildren, Janice Henry, Susan Smith, Bryan Cloe and Martin Cloe. Also surviving are four granddaughters and four grandsons.
Jean was a consummate homemaker. A talent for poetry and skills for quilting handcraft are noteworthy. She was a devoted Lutheran Christian and a strong Patriotic American.
She will be dearly missed by all, friends and family alike.
Arrangements include cremation, with interment at the Scottsburg Pioneer Cemetery in Scottsburg, OR.
Memorial Services are set for Wednesday, 2 PM at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church, Reedsport.
