Nelson calls a special city meeting Tuesday evening

In a surprise move, Mayor Orville Nelson has called a special meeting of the Lakeside City Council for Tuesday evening at 7 p.m.
The meeting will be preceded by yet another executive session.
It follows in the heels of last week’s firing of the woman who chose Nelson to become mayor, Suzie Marcy. The vote at last Thursday’s meeting was unanimous among the council members, with Nelson abstaining.
