Lakeside Community Association shows appreciation

The Lakeside Community Association showed their appreciation to Sandy Thayer for the hard work and dedication to Kid Zone. Sadly, Kid Zone recently closed, not for lack of effort on behalf of Sandy and her volunteers. Funding was the root cause sited for the closing, as is the case with so many of our truly worthy concerns.

There was standing room only for the scheduled program, “Emergancy Preparedness” presented by Connie Brunnell, professional volunteer with the Red Cross and also with the Coos County Preparedness Team. More on this later……..
