Coming soon: Do the rules apply to some and not others?
Has the Lakeside mayor been following city rules or does some sewer plant business need some flushing?
Lakesideinfo.com launches its own independent investigation, coming soon on your news source for Lakeside. Stay tuned.

Also, if you guessed that Lakesideinfo.com is not run by the City of Lakeside, then you may be smarter than the average city attorney, including the temporary, now-retired, now-not retired Lakeside attorney. This attorney is charging tax dollars at your mayor’s private request, to tell you that very thing.
Then again, ask a stupid question… and who’s raking in the dough?
This and more coming soon…
Footnote: Mr. Mayor, if you’d like to end your ban of speaking to Lakesideinfo.com and would like to clarify any of your positions for our reports, you know how to get in touch.
The same applies to your policy with regard to us speaking to the city wastewater employees, as we’d very much like to speak to them.
In particular, we’d like to ask the supervisor, Phil Heley some questions.
Some of those include:
- ♣ Mr. Heley, what were your initial and precise qualifications and do they match the employment application you submitted?
- ♣ Do your job qualifications match the city’s full job description for wastewater operations or was it amended for your benefit?
- ♣ And also, can you clarify the method in which the mayor used to hire you in the first place?
- ♣ Have you ever worked in a wastewater facility before or even anything similar?
- ♣ Why do you seem to be disproportionately upset at this website, when policy issues concerning the treatment plant were raised in a council member’s column, without even personalizing the issue or saying anything against you?
- ♣ Do you need to be paired with a more qualified employee to repair the STEP/STEG systems during either regular hours or on call?
- ♣ Why have you not rallied to the defense of your two employees when council members have uttered derogatory statements, like calling them “lazy asses” and “culls”?
- ♣ Mr. Heley, you have free reign at any time to answer these questions and enlighten the citizens of Lakeside as to what is happening in the innards of the sewer plant facility.
- ♣ Our door is always open to help you to clarify any misconceptions there may be in Lakeside about your plant or your job performance. It’s your call.
