Harmony garden put away for winter

New garden beds have been installed at Harmony Community Gardens recently, bringing the total up to twenty-one.
A raised bed strategy of gardening has many benefits. Those include helping with drainage, keeping soil temperatures warm, as well as a number of other benefits. As the cold winter rolls along, here’s to dreaming dreams of fabulous gardens in 2009.

The garden provided a bounty of vegetables and joy this past season. It can only get better with the addition of more beds.
