2009 Community calender

The Lakeside Community Association (LCA) still has several calendars for 2009 that can be purchased for $5.00. Proceeds all go to good local LCA causes, particularly to help pay for the costs of fuel and insurance for the citizens’ patrol vehicle.

These calendars have birthdays, anniversaries, local events for City Hall and all our local organizations: The Women’s Club, Lions Club, LCA general meetings, LakesideFire Dept., Chamber of Commerce, City Council, Planning Commission, STEP Program, Friends of The Library, and many more.

It tells you what time and where to meet for these meetings, and others on each calendar day. Also you can use it for a telephone directory instead of looking up the phone numbers in the phone book by their large ads on the face of the calendar.

There is also a beautiful colored picture with the new Community Garden, which is still growing, with some of the local Kid Zone children standing outside of the front gate with garden tools in hand. What gorgeous color it presents.

The volunteers for the Citizen’s Patrol would like you to contact; Darline Atkin @ 759-2356 or Sandy Thayer @ 759-3133 to get your calendar today. They will deliver them to make it easier on you. Or pick up your copy at Kid Zone- 759-4636 or come by after school has started back on January 5th, 2009. Our hours at Kid Zone are 3-6PM.
