Apple-Oat Breakfast Cookie

3/4 cp butter softened, 3/4 cp packed brown sugar, 2 eggs, 1 tsp vanilla, 2 1/2 cp old fashioned oats, 3/4 all-purpose flour, 1/2 cp instant non-fat dry milk powder, 1 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp baking powder, 1/2 tsp. cinnamon…1-1 1/4 cp apple pie filling. Cream butter and brown sugar.  Add eggs and vanilla.  Combine dry ingredients, add to creamed mix, mix well.  Drop by 1/4 cupfuls onto un-greased baking sheets.  Flatten into 3 inch circles.  Make a slight indentation in center, top with pie filling.  Bake @ 350 for 16-20 min. until edges are lightly brown.  Cool 5 min., remove to wire racks to cool completely…….Yield 10 servings
