Chamber Booth at Street Fair

Street Fair Fun!  

     As a joint effort fund raiser, the Lakeside Chamber of Commerce, the Lakeside Women’s Club and Harmony Garden groups shared a both at the Independence Day Street Fair.  The Chamber provided hand out materials from local businesses, maps, magazines and periodicals to provide visitors with information on activities statewide.  Also offered for sale were hats, caps and T-shirts advertising Lakeside and Tenmile Lakes.

     Harmony Garden members sold cookies, muffins, dragonfly’s and garden aprons.  The proceeds all go back into the community in the way of beautification for the city, a garden shed and additional garden beds.

     Scholarships to local students, the senior center and the library are supported by funds raised by the Women’s Club, who offered handcrafted cards, linens and gift items.
