A Controversial Action

Buford Goulds being sworn inBuford Goulds, being sworn in after the council, in a controversial action,  rescinded Julie Wilson from her position on the council, returning the council to ‘all male’.  Julie Wilson has threatened a lawsuit against the city and the councilors on the advice of legal council, maintaining the action taken was unlawful.  Several members of the audience spoke in support of Julie Wilson at the June 12, meeting and this meeting on June 24,.  Their arguments fell on deaf ears.
